Nessa

Nessa Rowler was the eldest of 2 other sisters. She is 17 years old in Slither's Tale. She was born to a farmer whom Slither called Old Rowler, so it is presumed that Rowler is her last name. Nessa's younger sisters are Susan (age 16) and Bryony (age 9). Nessa described her time at the farm as happy until her mother died in childbirth with the birth of her sister Bryony. Nessa did more physical work, such as milking cows and repairing fences, whereas Susan cooked and cleaned. Nessa also told Bryony about their mother, since Bryony had never met her.
