Henry Horrocks is a minor character in The Wardstone Chronicles.

He was the master of the infamous John Gregory and died towards the end of John Gregory's apprenticeship. How many apprentices he had taken on during his lifetime is unknown, readers only know that he had taken on John Gregory. As of yet, Henry Horrocks has only appeared once during the Wardstone Chronicles in the short story Meg Skelton featured in The Spook's Stories: Witches. However, the character has been mentioned numerous times throughout the series.

Henry's appearance includes bushy eyebrowes and a deep scar running down the left side of his face from an incident with a Boggart.

Before meeting John Gregory, he had just lost a previous apprentice because of a boggart. Henry offered John an apprenticeship after the courageous John saved Henry from being killed by a very powerful witch. He took on John Gregory as an apprentice 20 years after he met him, during those 20 years John had been training for the line of work that he wanted to go into, which was become a priest.
